About Us
AEE - Southeastern Virgina (AEE-SEVA), based in Central Virginia and Hampton Roads, Virginia is the local chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
Who We Are
Our members are energy engineers, facility managers, and a wide range of energy efficiency and sustainability professionals from across Central Virginia and Hampton Roads that support commercial, governmental, industrial, residential, and institutional businesses.

Our Mission
The mission of AEE is "to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development." AEE-SEVA supports this goal in our region by connecting and educating our members and the local business community. We encourage the next generation of young professionals to get involved in this dynamic industry sector through engagement activities. We educate and share success by highlighting local companies, municipalities, and universities with energy-efficient systems, outstanding facilities, or sustainability programs.
Our Leadership
AEE-SEVA has a volunteer board and several committees that set annual goals, run day-to-day operations and organize chapter events, such as member meetings, lunch-and-learns, training, scholarships, awards, and social outreach programs.
