The Southeastern Virginia Chapter assists with this global mission by promoting the national organization’s conferences and shows. On a local level we provide opportunities for energy professionals to gather for continuing energy education training sessions during quarterly chapter meetings. These sessions provide valuable insight into current trends and research. During meetings members also engage in peer to peer networking where knowledge, challenges, practical solutions, success stories, and inspiration are shared. The chapter’s organizational structure also offers opportunities to develop leadership and management skills.

Peter Skaredoff
Vice President

Peter is a Project Development Consultant for Johnson Controls Advanced Solution Development.  His primary roles are to assist in the development of performance contracts with large and/or complex systems, such as central plants or combined heating and power, and he also performs risk reviews on the technical and contractual aspects of performance contracts in North America.  BSME and MBA from Marquette University and ME in Modeling and Simulation from ODU.  He also holds his PE in several states, CEM, CEA, CPD and LEED AP BD+C.

Jeff Hall 

Mr. Hall’s duties and responsibilities as the Sr. Project Manager for Service Disabled Contracting Group, Inc. (SDC Group) transcend several areas of the company which include preparing project documents coordinating all project activities with subcontractors. Mr. Hall is the point person for providing Building Energy Performance Assessments, LEED & Sustainability Training and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) consulting services to commercial businesses and individual clients to optimize their business operations while reducing expenses. Mr. Hall is a CEM, LEED –AP (BD&C) and holds a PMP certification.

Walid Daniel

Works with the Department of Mines Minerals and Energy (DMME) as an Engineering and Technical specialist for the State Demand Response program.  Meet with facilities to promote the DR program, assist in determining electrical loads that will be eligible for curtailment. Mediate between facilities operation, Curtailment service provider and Electric companies to make Demand Response program work.  Keep up with PJM, the independent operator of the grid, regulations and changes, new technologies related to the grid, and new programs available at PJM.  Assist facilities to sustain its commitment to the grid.
